Make your way to Alton Baker Park for this year's Eugene Pride Festival to show your support for the LGBTQ community. This annual event continues to be one of the biggest events for the LGBTQ community in Eugene and promotes equality among all Americans regardless of sexual orientation or gender identification.
Last year, the festival featured more than 45 vendors and dozens of artists and entertainers. 2016 will be the 25th year of celebrations and the Pride Committee has several Silver Anniversary Pride Celebration activities planned.
The event that runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on August 13, 2016, near downtown Eugene. Admission is free and a donation of $5 is suggested. The park is located a short drive from the University of Oregon campus and less than a 15-minute drive from the Comfort Suites Eugene. It's easily accessible from Interstate 5 and free parking is available nearby.
